Family Faith Formation – Sunday, October 2nd at 12:15pm
Blessing of Pets – Sunday, October 9th in front of All Saints
Mass at the Pier – Sunday, October 23rd at 10am Followed by a $10 catered lunch
As I write this on Wednesday afternoon, I am praying that the storm will pass quickly, and we will have power for our weekend Masses. And if not, I still think we can manage to worship our God without the benefit of electricity. I am told people did for centuries. We will definitely be gathering for our Family Faith Formation as we talk about pray and fun ways of being mindful of the Liturgical Year at home. All are welcome at 12:15 on Sunday.
Meanwhile we pray: Loving God our prayers are where our hearts and minds have been during these past few days with all those who have been affected by Hurricane Ian.
We pray for all those who have lost their homes and those still without power and a safe place to live. We ask that you bring comfort as they grieve their loss.
We pray a blessing on those men and women who worked tirelessly to remove fallen trees, broken houses and clear the roads for safe travel.
Show us how we can help our neighbors and pray for this situation. In all things and in all times, help us to remember that even when life seems dark and stormy, you are in the boat with us, guiding us to safety. Let there be peace and joy in future days through Christ our Lord. Amen! -- Fr. Jerry
